What are the System Requirements?

What are the System Requirements?

The Cascade application is built and tested to work in the following web browsers.

  • Google Chrome (on latest stable releases of Windows 10 and OSX)

  • Firefox (on latest stable releases of Windows 10)

  • Safari (on latest stable release of OS X)

For all browsers, the following settings must be enabled: TLS 1.2 and JavaScript must be supported/enabled.

It may work in other browsers but these are not officially supported.

If you find any issues in any of our supported browsers, please let us know by reaching us in the live chat.

If you see any performance issues like slowness, or data not refreshing, you can do the following:

  • check your internet connectivity

  • do a hard refresh (press the "refresh" button in the browser)

  • clear cache (Clear browsing history).

And if the issue still persists, you can reach out to us.

You can access our application from a smartphone (be it Android or iPhone) or tablet running on an up-to-date web browser. See How to Install Cascade as a Progressive Web App. However, we recommend using Cascade on desktop instead of mobile while we continue to make Cascade more mobile friendly. Ultimately, we think strategy should be in your pocket wherever you go, and we are still fine tuning the mobile experience.

Datacenters or Hosting options:

Based on the workspace region that you choose, the platform will be hosted in these countries at the time of implementation:

  • North America

  • Asia Pacific (Sydney)

  • UK

  • Europe

  • Canada

If you wish to move to a different region, we can get that done for you but the existing data will not be migrated to the new region.

If you're an Essentials and Enterprise+ customer, and would require hosting in a different country, please reach out to us, and we'll work on it.

FAQs

How compliant is Cascade with data security standards like ISO 27001?

Cascade itself doesn't yet hold a formal compliance audit (this is a work in progress), but we operate our own internal information security program, which draws from industry frameworks and general good practices, covering elements such as security awareness, security in the Cascade SDLC, technical security controls in the Cascade environment, access control, privacy, encryption, robustness/continuity, incident response, etc. Key policy and process elements are reviewed annually and when prompted by changes in the internal/external environment. Also, note that as Cascade is hosted in AWS and GCP, the data centers, infrastructure, managed services etc. are all covered by the hosting providers’ range of certifications (See AWS compliance programs for details).

Can I enable SSO authentication?

Yes, SSO authentication is enabled via assisted setup only. Please reach out to the Account Executive or the Customer Success Manager for further details.

Does the platform support two-factor (2fa) or multi-factor (mfa) authentication?

Yes. Admins can enable MFA or 2FA in the workspace, and once enabled, it'll be active for all users in that workspace. See Multi-Factor Authentication for details.
