3.3 - Plan access

Previous Section: 3.2 - Tags

Permissions on Plans are determined by the settings in your workspace, controlling whether you can view or edit a plan. For some Plans, there may not be a need for all users to have 'edit' access to the entire plan, specifically when they only need to edit elements they own.

View Only: Users with "view only" access can edit the elements they own, but they cannot make changes to the overall plan. If a user does not own any elements, they will be able to view only.

Edit Access: Users with "edit access" have permission to modify the entire plan, along with the elements they own.

To view your plan permissions, click the "Share" button beside the plan:

It's important to know the difference between plan-specific permissions and user roles (admin, manager, contributor). While admins can access every plan - managers and contributors will need to be given explicit permission to view and/or edit.
