5 - Introduction to Reports

Previous Section: 4.4 - Update Progress on a Measure & add Historical Data

Reports in Cascade are your key to communicating the progress of your strategy. No matter your specific workflow, Cascade provides the visibility you need, from a high-level overview to the most granular details.

Once your plan is structured with owners, timelines, and defined outcomes, you can use reports to analyze your existing data. Reports are updated in real-time, so once you've built your report, you can revisit it anytime to see the latest progress. We recommend combining charts for visuals with tables for detailed information, allowing you to tell a compelling and comprehensive story.

You have the flexibility to either build a new report from scratch or use one of our pre-built templates. This section will guide you through the process of creating a report, using templates, and managing report sharing and permissions.
