How to Install Cascade as a Progressive Web App

A progressive web app (PWA) is a website that looks and behaves as if it is a mobile app. PWAs are built to take advantage of native mobile device features, without requiring you to visit an app store, make a purchase and download the software locally. And, we’ve implemented Cascade’s manifest and relevant service workers, allowing it to function as a progressive web app.

Now, you can install Cascade as an app on a multitude of devices, whether smartphone, tablet or desktop. You'll see an improved app performance and faster loading times.

Installing Cascade provides an app-like experience, without the need to download from an app store. Once installed, you can enjoy the following features:

• Quick access from your home screen or taskbar.

• Full screen mode for an immersive experience.

• Smooth transitions and animations for seamless navigation.

We’ve optimized Cascade to provide you with a fast and responsive experience. Here’s what you can expect:

How to install Cascade app?

Visit our Cascade website using a supported browser like Chrome or Edge. In case of mobile, open your mobile browser and navigate to our website.

1. At the top-right of the address bar, click the three dots, and click Install Cascade. In mobile browser, click Install app. If you're using an iPhone, open the Cascade site in the Safari browser, and click the  (Share) icon, and click Add to Home screen to add the app.

2. In the Install app modal, click Install.

The Cascade app will successfully be installed in the desktop and taskbar of your computer, and in the case of a mobile or tablet, it'll be added as an app in the home screen.

If you wish to manage the app settings, then

1. Click on the app in your mobile or desktop.

2. At the top right of the app window, click the three dots.

3. Select App info > Settings.

4. Select the setting you want to update.

If you wish to uninstall Cascade app from the mobile or desktop, then

1. Click on the app in your mobile or desktop.

2. At the top right of the app window, click the three dots.

3. Click Uninstall Cascade.

4. Select the setting you want to update.
