To accommodate for our transnational customers, you can now set a dedicated timezone for your Cascade workspace. This will ensure unison across your workspace for any date-related areas such as start/end dates, progress updates and Reports - in particular beneficial to users that may be accessing the workspace from a different timezone.
How to Select a Timezone
Workspace Admins can set the Workspace Timezone in the Admin section (Admin → Workspace Settings → Workspace time zone). By default, the timezone will match the location where the workspace was created, but it's crucial to verify that this setting is correct. This adjustment needs to be made only once.
The dropdown menu for timezone selection is both searchable and organized by location.
For Users in a Different Timezone
Additional information banners will show for users that are in a different timezone than the one configured. If the user's timezone matches the workspace timezone, no information will be displayed.
For example, A company based in London has set the workspace timezone to Europe/London. One of their team members is working remotely from Sydney, Australia. When this team member logs in, they will see a banner indicating the timezone difference between Sydney and London. When they view deadlines or project updates, the times will automatically be displayed relative to their local Sydney time.

Please note, the Workspace time zones can always be changed by an Admin but important to consider the changing of the time zone since this has impacts every user.
