Default Expected Progress

Set a default timeframe for how 'Expected Progress' is set on goals

When you create a goal, the system will create a default 'curve' for how the progress of that goal is expected to progress towards completion. For example, if you have a goal with a target to reach 100%, over a period of 10 months - the default expected progress will be increments of 10% per month (until you finally get to 100%).

We have a feature in the Workspace Settings menu of the Admin screen that allows you to specify what those increments should be for newly created goals by default - you can choose between:

  • Weekly
  • Monthly
  • Quarterly
  • Biannually
  • Annually

You can also specify the day of the month that you want those increments to transition:

  • First day of the month
  • Last day of the month
  • First Monday of the month
  • Last Friday of the month

Note that this will set the default only, but that this can be overridden on a goal by goal basis.
