Only Admin and Managers can perform this bulk operations.
In the Bulk Importer - Users and Plans article, you'll learn how to import users in bulk to your workspace. Once invited or enabled in the workspaces, you can now perform action in bulk on users like:
-
Delete
-
Disable
-
Enable
-
Resend invite
You cannot bulk-edit the users to change their roles, job titles, as they'll be different for each person. See Edit a User for details.
Navigate to Profile picture/initials > Settings > Admin > Users. Select the check-boxes beside the users on whom you want to perform the bulk operation, and click Bulk actions. Click the relevant option - delete, disable, enable, or resend invite.
Click Export to CSV to export the users and their details in a CSV format.
Bulk delete:
Select the check-boxes of the users you wish to delete, and click Bulk actions > Delete. The delete confirmation dialog opens, click Confirm to complete the action or Cancel to discard. If you wish to remove any users from this list, click the X against their name.
Once a user is deleted, the user seats and the billing will automatically get adjusted. These users will still appear in the workspace with '(deleted)' next to their names. Also, the deleted users cannot log into Cascade, but the goals and plans associated with them would still be available.
Bulk disable:
Select the check-boxes of the users you wish to disable, and click Bulk actions > Disable. The disable confirmation dialog opens, click Confirm to complete the action or Cancel to discard. If you wish to remove any users from this list, click the X against their name. However, these disabled users can be re-enabled at a later point in time unlike deleted users.
Once a user is disabled, the user seats and the billing will automatically get adjusted. These users will still appear in the workspace with '(disabled)' next to their names. Also, the disabled users cannot log into Cascade and are not billable, but they can still show up in reporting as needed.
Bulk enable: (Only for "disabled" users)
Select the check-boxes of the disabled users you wish to enable, and click Bulk actions > Enable. The enable confirmation dialog opens, click Confirm to complete the action or Cancel to discard. If you wish to remove any users from this list, click the X against their name.
Once a user is enabled, the user seats and the billing will automatically get adjusted. If these users have goals assigned to them, they can now start to actively collaborate on it.
Resend invite in bulk: (Only for "invited" users)
Select the check-boxes of the invited users you wish to re-invite again, and click Bulk actions > Resend invite. The invite will be sent again to their mails.
Please note that "Invited" status will be displayed only against those users who're not part of any workspaces in Cascade. Even if they're part of one workspace, and are authenticated, then their status will automatically be displayed as "Enabled" when they're added to a new workspace.
To reiterate, when you choose to do a bulk action to a group of users with different statuses (enabled, disabled, or invited), the option you choose will only apply to the users with the corresponding status. For example, if you have 5 users selected and 3 of them are enabled while 2 are invited, choosing to "disable" will only disable the 3 enabled users, and choosing to "resend invites" will only affect the 2 invited users.
