2.4.1 - Action Tracking Types
Previous Section: 2.4 - Adding Success Criteria (Actions and Measures)
Actions are best suited for tracking qualitative activities or "to-do" items that contribute to your Objective/Project. The initial value will always start at 0% and the target is 100% completion for all Actions.
You can track Actions with one of the following tracking types:
- Manual slider (default): Direct representation of percent, which allows for a more subjective assessment of completion.
- Checklist: Break down an action into manageable checklist items. Each item will have a due date and contributes equally to the overall 100% completion (e.g., if there are 4 items, each is worth 25%). Items can be checked off in any order.
- Milestone: For Actions that require a structured sequence, use milestones. You'll define specific milestones, assign a percentage completion to each and they must be completed in the order you've set.
